Are your drone operators CAA licensed?
Yes. Every MaisonVue drone operator holds a valid CAA Flyer ID and Operator ID, and carries public liability insurance. All flights are conducted in full compliance with UK Air Navigation Order (ANO) drone regulations. We handle all pre-flight airspace checks as standard.
Can you fly in London's controlled airspace?
London has significant controlled airspace around Heathrow, City Airport, and other aerodromes. We carry out airspace checks for every booking in advance. Where authorisation is required, we apply for it through the NATS drone portal. If a location is genuinely not flyable, we’ll tell you before the booking is confirmed.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We monitor weather conditions before every shoot. If conditions are unsafe for flight (high wind, rain, poor visibility), we’ll contact you to reschedule at no cost. Your booking is always protected — we never charge for weather cancellations.
How long does a drone shoot take?
A typical residential drone shoot takes 30–60 minutes on-site. Larger development sites or shoots that combine aerial and ground videography may take 1–2 hours. We’ll confirm the expected on-site time when you book.
Can aerial photography be combined with ground-level photography or video?
Yes. Many clients book drone alongside our photography or videography service for a single combined visit — more efficient and cost-effective. Contact us to arrange a combined booking.
